DU WOMEN’S LACROSSE NEWS - DU Women’s Lacrosse Takes Undefeated Record to Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURGH, Va. – The University of Denver women’s lacrosse takes is undefeated 2-0 record to Virginia Tech for a 2 p.m. MT matchup on Sun., Feb. 26.

Denver is 2-0 on the season with wins over Longwood (18-4) and Duquesne (9-7). Senior Tanya Fuchs (Bay Shore, N.Y.), older sister of Tech sophomore Natasha Fuchs, leads Denver with six goals, three assists and 16 ground balls.

Virginia Tech, which returns 11 of 12 starters from the 2005 campaign open the 2006 season today with UAB.
