Denver Outlaws 2007 Lacrosse Schedule Announced

Season highlights include May 19 opener and July 4 celebration

DENVER – Jan. 9, 2007 –The Western Conference champion Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse on Tuesday announced their 2007 schedule.

All of the Outlaws’ six home dates will be May 19, June 9, June 16, July 4, July 21 and August 4 at INVESCO Field at Mile High. All but the final home game will be at 7 p.m. The August 4 contest against Los Angeles will be at 1 p.m.

The team will open its second season at INVESCO Field at Mile High on May 19 against the San Francisco Dragons. The Colorado High School Athletic Association championship game will precede that Outlaws game.

The team’s July 4 contest against the Chicago Machine will be followed by fireworks. Fans attending the rematch of the 2006 MLL Finals on July 21 will receive a team poster as the MLL defending champion Philadelphia Barrage make their initial visit to Denver. Two weeks later, the Outlaws will host Fan Appreciation Night on August 4 when they take on the Los Angeles Riptide.

The team’s road games will be on June 2 (at Chicago, Toyota Park), June 23 (at San Francisco, Kezar Stadium), June 30 (at Chicago, Toyota Park), July 14 (at Los Angeles, Home Depot Center), July 28 (at Long Island, Mitchel Athletic Complex) and Aug. 11 (at San Francisco, Kezar Stadium).
