Zordani, Shepard, Hahn named to Face-Off’s honorable mention list

DENVER – Seniors captain Ryan Zordani (Littleton, Colo.) and David Hahn (Aurora, Colo.) and junior Rory Shepard (Riverside, Conn.) have been selected to Inside Lacrosse magazine’s Face-Off Yearbook's list of preseason All-Americans for Division I men's lacrosse honorable mention team. The list features 90 of the top lacrosse players in the country and was announced today.
Zordani already named to the Great Western Lacrosse League pre-season all-conference list led DU with 39 points in 2006, including a team-high 20 assists.

Hahn scored four points in 2006 and had 24 groundballs and was also an all-GWLL pre-season selection.

Shepard also a pre-season all-GWLL selection started all 17 of the last year’s contests and was second on the team with 58 groundballs.

Denver begins its lacrosse season Feb. 17, 2007 against Penn State in State College, Pa., and is ranked 14th entering the season.
